Elena is a licensed architect with more than 25 years of experience. Throughout her career, she has worn many hats, taking on multiple roles and overseeing every stage of development – from the Program and design sketches to the construction documents and construction administration. She uses this process at RMc and has designed and built over 20 commercial renovations and new construction projects in the Washington, D.C. area. Elena’s work is known for its striking architectural design, functional planning and unconventional use of color.
Elena has an artistic and musical mind, enjoying classic music and jazz. Outside of the office, she often visits concert halls, art galleries and museums. She enjoys drawing and painting, with a broad and diverse portfolio of work. She has a well-rounded and active lifestyle – enjoying tennis, keeping her physically active and she also loves nature. She is also very friendly with a large social circle and boosts the office’s morale.
